Community Partners
Many people enjoy hosting fundraisers to benefit the programs of Lourdes Health System; some, in fact, have made it an annual undertaking. Whether you’re interested in doing something at your home, in your community or at a local school, organizing an event is a great way to help Lourdes provide life-saving treatment and compassionate care to patients of all ages. Beane Family Foundation
The Beane Boys Foundation has held a “No Frills Golf Outing” for the past six years to raise money for Lourdes Intensive Care Nursery (ICN). The foundation is named for twins Sean and Matthew, who spent three months in the ICN in 2003, and Christopher, who spent a few days there in 2007. Prior to Christopher’s birth, mother Mimi spent eight weeks in the antenatal unit.
Italian Sons & Daughters Club of Hammonton
Kidney transplant patient and Hammonton resident Sam Parzanese, a member of the Italian Sons & Daughters Club, organized a fundraiser to benefit Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Kidney Dialysis and Transplant Center. Parzanese, who received a donated kidney from his wife Susan five years ago, held the fundraiser to honor the excellent and compassionate care given to him at the center by his transplant surgeon, Nasser I. Youssef, MD, and all of his caregivers.
