With the start of a new school year approaching, Lourdes is hosting its 6th Annual Backpack Drive for local school children in need. Staff throughout the organization are asked to donate new or gently used backpacks and essential school supplies such as notebooks, folders and pencils to ensure that children are prepared for their first day of school.

Donations may be delivered to Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center Cafeteria between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 11th. All donated backpacks will be distributed to the needy children through the Osborn Family Health Center at Lourdes prior to the start of the school year.
