Lourdes Burlington Hosts Cancer Program

Location: Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County

The Lourdes Cancer Center at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County, in partnership with Living Beyond Breast Cancer, will host a free educational event, “Survivorship: Moving Beyond” on Thursday, Sept. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the hospital. The event will feature Lourdes oncologist Eduardo Fernandez, MD.

 

The program will help participants:

·        learn more about survivorship care plans and how they are used in follow-up care;

·        manage post-treatment side effects including changes to body image and relationships;

·        explore methods to help embrace life fully after breast cancer.
